JJ did not die in 1898, but in 1922. Margaret never knew Mark Twain, that is a rumour that has been circulated by bad historians. Also, the daughter who has a room in the Molly Brown House was named Helen, not Catherine. I found it interesting that you mention the smell of smoke though, I, as well as many guests, have smelled smoke in the house often, especially near the study.
