This interesting ghost video comes from us via WYFF News 4 from Anderson N.C.. Seems they have some unexplained paranormal activity in the new municipal building. The security camera tells the tale and the ghost video in linked at the bottom of the article copied in its entirety.
A ghost story in Anderson has captured national attention and it’s is keeping people in the Upstate talking.
On Thursday WYFF News 4′s John Eby showed video of a mysterious blur repeatedly caught camera moving around in the credit union office in the Municipal Business Center.
The business center is new, but Eby traced the history of the piece of land back to the 1800s, when a large estate called Echo Hall stood on the property.
According to long-held tradition in Anderson, Echo Hall belonged to J.P. Reed, a prominent judge and one-time mayor of Anderson. But the mysterious apparition in the credit union is a distance from where the main home stood.
“That piece of property there would have been considered, you know, beyond the main part of the house,” Anderson County Museum curator Alison Hinman said.
The part of the lot where the credit union now stands was basically empty until around 1890, when a man named P.E. Stevens built a carriage shop on it.
Hinman said, “We don’t have much on him … We have some references, but they’re more or less him coming to an event, or family pictures. How many generations back, I couldn’t tell you.”
As carriages were moved into history by the arrival of cars, the lot became the site of a Sinclair Service Station. Besides being a service station, it is remembered as a place where people sat around and talked about politics
Anybody who knows the history of the spot says it seems to have 150 years of peace and quiet. So, if the white blur on the other side of this window is trying to send a message, no one seems to be able to guess what it is
Paranormal investigator Joe Wright analyzed the video, and he thinks the image has more to do with housekeeping than haunting.
“It appears to be a piece of particular matter, maybe dangling from a spider web or something like that,” Wright said.
But those who have looked at the video and who work in the municipal building are not buying that explanation.
They said that after the blur showed up, they had the area around the camera thoroughly cleaned, so they aren’t buying the idea that their ghost is a speck of dust.
But for now, there is no definite explanation for the images caught on camera. And there may never be.
