Paranormal Investigation: Lancaster, NY – Day 2

Paranormal Investigation Day 1

After our interesting experience we re-grouped and decided that Darius and I would go back in and see if we could recreate the experience from before. This time we took the recorder and the KII meter. I introduced Darius and placed the KII meter (which hasn’t as much as moved since we entered) at the foot of the bed. Darius and I were separated about 3 feet with the meter between us then I asked if someone would like to step between us and communicate.

A few seconds later the meter flashed strongly with all the lights lighting up. Intrigued, I asked if it could do it again. It did, just once, all the lights then nothing. I then waited for about 30 seconds to see if the meter would go off by itself intermittently and we were just experiencing an incident of perfect timing but the meter never went off again. I moved the meter from floor to ceiling and again nothing set it off.

I set it down again and asked if it would be ok to ask some questions and again it lit up. I have had sessions where the KII had indicated questions being answered before but in those cases I always had a doubt because the responses wouldn’t quite correspond every time. This was a first for me because the responses seem to come strongly and with intent.

For the next several minutes we seem to get direct and strong answers to our questions. Asked if it was male and no indication, asked if female and lit all the lights. Asked if she lived in the house, nothing. Was she attached to the room, fully lit up and asked if she was a slave, fully lit up. By fully lit up I mean every light and in between questions the meter never even flickered. It was an amazing experience for me personally and the team was excited to say the least.

We regrouped again and discussed the possibility of the history we have heard about this house housing slaves escaping from the South during the Civil War. We decided to play our own race card and send Darius in the room alone for an EVP session. He got the same type of responses to his questions and a particularly long and active response when he told her that slavery was no longer an issue in our time. Again another re-group and we decided to send Darius in with the client now to see if she felt anything different in the room. Again questions were asked and seemingly answered.

I realize there are people in this world that can sense things that others cannot. I also believe that everyone in some way have psychic abilities. Mine however are well hidden but after the session with the client though, even I could feel the energy in the house change. This is one investigation I will always remember and we still had a day left to go in the basement!

We packed up for the evening and though excited we were all somewhat exhausted. The next day the client said she slept better than ever and did not feel like she was being watched anymore. Now we could concentrate on the basement for the next evening and I had a quest to get a KII session on video.

We rotated groups of two into the basement Saturday night. We did have a KII experience there as well but do to all the electrical wiring and furnace being located in the basement, I think it best to not offer it as something paranormal. We did however have an issue with the video camera trying to get a KII session recorded.

First in the basement, we thought we had found someone else willing to communicate. We took the hand held camera downstairs and started to record. Immediately the camera cut off, its dark, it’s understandable that could happen. We get the flashlight, cut it back on and ask a question, we get no response and again the camera cuts off. This happens two more times and then, with the camera off, Darius asked if the camera bothered them, the KII went off several times. We did have people watching the DVR and said that they could see the screen of the camera go black and we turn it back on several times.

We decided to go back upstairs in the bedroom and try it there. I set the KII on the dresser, focused the camera on the KII and stepped out leaving Darius and the client to ask some questions. Both Darius and the client remember seeing the record light on in the beginning but when they finished the camera was off. Not to be deterred I sent one more person in to hold the camera, we asked if the camera bothered them again and got a positive response then nothing else.

So for video evidence I am going to have to hope the DVR cameras captured some of the activity. We are going over them this week. As far as EVPS, we did capture a few that we have been given permission to post and will be putting them up this week in the paranormal forum.

Overall, I could not have asked for a better investigation. The house was active and provided us with some experiences I will always remember. Hopefully we can backup some of these experiences with the cameras we had out.
