One of the biggest complaints I had with these lights is the low battery life it had. Here is how I did it step by step. They conversion works perfectly for me but before you start I must warn you that you try this at your own risk. You will need: Drill and a small drill bit (about 1/16th) 3 or 4 AA battery compartment (it will use 3 batteries) Velcro Very small Phillips head screwdriver Shrink wrap/Electrical tape Snips to cut wire OK, let’s get started: Step 1 – Take out the 4 screws in the back on the SIMA unit.Read More...

Ghost Eyes - Most Haunted Places in America
Related posts:

Haunted Places: Battery Carriage Inn

Battery 9 Petersburg National Battlefield Part 1

Making A Geophone

PhantomLite IR/UV/Full Spectrum Lights

Ghost Hunting Equipment

full spectrum lights

ir lights

paranormal

phantomlite

uv lights

PhantomLite IR/UV/Full Spectrum Lights

I was pointed in the direction of these lights from a twitter follower (Parachasers – Chris DeMent). I emailed Randy of Cold Spot Paranormal and asked a few questions and got timely and informative answers so I asked him if he would tell me a little more about his lights. I currently use “another brand” of IR illuminators and quite frankly think charging them every 45 minutes is annoying. You can see the Phantom Lite in action in the forum as well as get answers from Randy (PHANTOMLITE) – Phantom Lite video I asked Randy to write something for Ghost Eyes readers and he sent the following, Thank You Randy. Now granted there are a few that everyone agrees on and are based on similar experiences that people have throughout the world. One good example is EMF. Do they really point to spirit activity? Based on evidence gathered by many different teams you could say yes but the reality is no one really knows and it is just a working theory. Due to this fact, I try real hard to look at every device and technique with an open mind and then possible test that technique for myself. I do tend to lend more towards the science and though believe personal experiences when they cannot be debunked;Read More...

Ghost Eyes - Most Haunted Places in America
Related posts:

Ghost Video: Borden House

Making A Geophone

Coopers Homestead Ghost Video

Making A Geophone

Ghost Hunting Equipment

geophone

Paranormal Investigations

Making A Geophone

OK, I admit it, I like gadgets. So when I saw the opportunity to make a geophone like the ones I saw on Ghost Hunters, I just didn’t have the will power to resist. Besides including the kit, shipping and a trip to Radio Shack and I have less than $45 in total and it works great! The only problem I had with the whole process was the wiring directions left a lot to be desired. Actually all you really got was a schematic showing you where all the wires went. In reality it wasn’t that hard and I had it all done in about 30 minutes. Here is a list of all the parts I used to put this together. Originally designed to measure seismic activity, as in earthquakes and tremors, the geophone has become an increasingly popular tool in the field of paranormal investigations. The geophone is a relatively small machine that has a square or rectangular body, a cylindrical coil on the end, and is topped by a series of 10 LED lights. The geophone is able to convert displaced ground movement or vibrations to a voltage, and lights up one or more of the LEDs depending on the strength of the displacement. The magnetic coil is the key element of the geophone, encases in steel and held in place by springs.
