Converting the SIMA SL20IR to AA Battery Power

I just converted my SIMA SL 20IR lights to run off 3 AA batteries instead of the rechargeable battery that it comes with. One of the biggest complaints I had with these lights is the low battery life it had. Here is how I did it step by step. They conversion works perfectly for me but before you start I must warn you that you try this at your own risk.
