    My own personal experiences

Hi all. My name is Brant, as some of you know. I was just contacted by my home, saying activity is starting to kick up again. Growing up at my grandmother's house, there was always some form of activity. Items turn on and off, shadows, noises, items disappearing and reappearing and on occasion, full body apparitions. My grandmother and cousin were the only ones I knew that saw the apparition of the man. My grandmother nicknamed him Fred. Activity has been quiet for a few years, and now recently started up again. My sister and her boyfriend saw the same apparition. Not only did they see it, but it walked right in front of her boyfriend and kept on walking. That story made me think that it's residual, since people there didn't affect the behavior. What is funny is, everyone that has seen him, gives the same description of him. Now a few days ago, my mom had an incident. Her thermostat in her room, which is in the basement where all the activity is happening, kept going up to 90. She turned it down to 65, left the room, and when she came back it would be near 90 again. She even said, "Now Fred, 90's too hot down here. Let me turn it down. Stop messing with the thermostat". After that, she felt a burning sensation on her face. she went to the bathroom, and there was a red hand print on her cheek. I am having everyone up there write down dates and times for all incidents, so if there is a patern, I will try to visit within that time frame for a better chance to get him on film. I'll finish with an experience of my own from that house. Now, this actually happened in the upstairs kitchen, which is next to the basement steps. At the time, I worked in a bakery, so I woke up at 2:30 am to get ready for work. I would go down stairs and get my shower, and then go back up for breakfast. I'm in the center of the kitchen. I hear someone coming up behind me. I figured it was my grandmother coming out for some medication. At the time, my grandmother was sick, and as a result, did suffer some insomnia. I was wearing a collared polo shirt for work, and I felt a thumb and index finger grab the back neck of the polo, and pull up really hard. Hard enough that I couldn't breathe. I was reaching behind me, and nothing was there. I got my fingers in my front collar, and pulled. It let go. I looked around, I'm all by myself. I was in the center of the room, so there was nothing my collar could have been snagged on. It did shock me, but didn't frighten me. I did go to work without breakfast that morning. When I did get to work, my neck had a red ring around from being so tight around my neck. I didn't know how to tell everyone at work that nothing had tried to strangle me. Just one of quite a few experiences I thought I would share, since activity is starting again at the house where I experienced it.

Wow Brant that certainly sounds scary being grabbed by something. Did you take any pictures of ur neck where it was red?? Just curious..I like to see pictures. I want to go when they go into a place that is haunted. I've had my own personal experiences...but I have never been on a trip like that.. Hope whatever grabbed you doesn't do it again or hurt you..

WOW that is quite an experience. Be real interested in the history of that house.

Seems to be a little aggressive as well so be careful.

No I did not get any pictures. I was still new to the paranormal world, and it didn't even occur to me to take a picture of my neck. It was gone after work. I worked really long that day. I remember, it was inventory so I was there until about 5pm. As for the history, there isn't much on the house. My grandparents bought it in the 60's. They were the 2nd owners. The first only owned it for about a year or 2 before they sold it. My guess is the land, not the house. What's funny is, it will get active for a little while, then nothing for a long time. That's why I asked my family to write down everything. If I can predict when the activity will kick up, I'll have the best chance to capture evidence.

Thanks so much for sharing that Brant! My mom had similar experiences in the house I grew up in, but the activity stopped when I was about 3 years old. Most of it centered around the second floor and the attic, and it once lifted her and the loose board she was standing on a few inches off of the attic floor. Scared the heck out of her! She never went back in the attic after that, even years after the activity had stopped. She always wanted to find out the history of the house.

That's a great idea to look for patterns so you can try to predict when it will happen!
